SweetCloud’s Geography: Three Active Markets and Preparations for Entry into the UAE

Popcorn from SweetCloud’s own factory in Belgrade is supplied to Serbia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia. In each country, the brand develops sales through local distributors, while preparing the necessary infrastructure for its next market — the UAE.
Serbia is the home market for production: by the end of September, the product was available in 760 stores across the country. Montenegro became the brand’s first market, and popcorn from the Belgrade factory has been supplied there since February 2026. In August, the team dispatched its largest shipment at that time — 14 pallets covering six product items in a single truck.
In North Macedonia, the process from the first samples to the start of deliveries took several months. In August, a contract was signed with a distributor and the first nine pallets were dispatched, followed by another seven in early October. Packaging in Macedonian and Albanian was prepared for this market; the next step is to expand the brand’s presence in retail chains.
Sales in the UAE have not yet begun. Sweetcloud F.Z.E. has already been established, its profile with Dubai Municipality has been verified, and packaging and product registration is underway. The next steps are to complete the registration procedures and arrange logistics from Serbia.
Behind each new country are product samples, negotiations, packaging adaptation, and shipment preparations. We will share further details on how SweetCloud progresses through these stages in separate publications.
